Located between the Goshen Mountains and the Eastern Sea, and straddling the wide and impertinent Broken River, Chelandia is a powerful city-state and the undisputed (by Chelandians anyway) cultural and political capital of the world.
Chelandia exists in the intersection between technology and magic, between science fiction and fantasy, between politics and satire, a world inspired by literary visionaries such as China Mieville, Douglas Adams, Raymond Chandler, Terry Pratchett, William Gibson, and H. P. Lovecraft.
Dispatches from Chelandia is directly inspired by the serial weirdness of Welcome to Night Vale and Scarfolk Council.
